Light house: on Palinuro’s headland. It  is the second highest  light house in Italy. It’s 70m high and the beam of it’s light can be seen until Sicily. There is a beautiful view that will impress you.

Marine caves: all around Capo Palinuro, are very interesting and attractive Caves. Boat trips are organized from  Palinuro Port

Arco Naturale: 1,5 km from Villa Mirella, a natural arc that divides two beaches with an attractive view. A marine natural sculture that is now lighted during the night.

Sanseverino’s Middle Age soburg: At few miles from Palinuro, from the grey and pink rocks overhanging the valley of the Mingardo River, rises on ancient Medieval Village like magic: it’s San Severino di Centola. This village was left 35 years ago, when the in habitants removed to the plain. But in the Middle Age the village had a fundamental strategic significance, as testifird by the powerful castle. You will go into raptures at the beauty and mistery of that place.It realistically represents  life condition in southern Italy between 1200 end 1930.

Marina di Camerota: touristic village 5 km from Palinuro, with a nice port in the town. A nice place for walking and shopping. Also interesting for ground caves where the remains of  Neanthertal man has been found.

Camerota: town up to Marina di Camerota famous for artistic works with Terracotta handmade objects.

Morigerati grotto: 25 km away. One of biggest karstic phenomenon in Europe. You can see the Bussento river exiting after 5 km of underground flow.the Bussento river, that is born from the southern side of the Cervati mount, in proximity of Caselle in Pittari enter in a colossal hole of the earth and reappear itself, after to have covered its mysterious travel inside the earth, till some kilometers southern, under the village of Morigerati. The entire zone offers one of the beautiful view and one of greater naturalistic callback of the Park.

Padula monasterium, 45 km from Palinuro it’s rich inartistic rooms.

Velia (Elea): 20 km from Palinuro. A historical Greek town, this was the base for a very important school of  medicine and Philosophy of the greek period (Magna Graecia)

Paestum: 50 km from Palinuro, one of the most important towns of southern of Italy during the greek and roman periods.

Molpa castle: on the top of the mountain in front of VillaMirella there are the ruins of Molpa’s town of 5.000 years ago.

SacroMonte: biggest hill of Cilento, at the top it is located the chapel of Madonna del Monte, very impressive for the nice view. It is the most important religious site of Cilento.
